Popular PT Values in Pixels
1 pt = 1.33 px, 8 pt = 10.67 px, 10 pt = 13.33 px, 12 pt = 16 px, 18 pt = 24 px, 20 pt = 26.67 px, 24 pt = 32 px, 30 pt = 40 px, 40 pt = 53.33 px. Because 1 pt = 4/3 px, every multiple of 3 pt is a whole number of pixels.

A point is 1/72 of an inch and CSS uses 96 pixels per inch, so:
px = pt × 96 ÷ 72 = pt × 1.3333
Example: 24 pt × 96 ÷ 72 = 32 px. Going the other way, px × 0.75 gives points. Use the DPI field above only when you need pixels for a different resolution, such as 300 DPI print (12 pt = 50 px).

12 pt = 16 px (1 rem with the default 16 px root font size).
1 pt = 1.3333 px in CSS (exactly 4/3 of a pixel).
24 pt = 32 px, and 18 pt = 24 px.
For screens, use px or rem. Points are meant for print, so they are a good fit for print stylesheets and PDFs.
