What Each Convert Is
Each Convert is a collection of free online tools, online since 2025, for the small jobs that come up every day: resizing a photo to fit an upload limit, turning images into a PDF or a PDF into images, making a GIF from a video, recording your screen, converting CSS units while building a website, or working out a percentage. Every tool is free, needs no account and adds no watermark. All tools work on phones as well as computers, except the screen recorder, which needs a desktop browser.
Each Convert is an independent site run from Maharashtra, India.
Your Files Stay on Your Device
All Each Convert tools run inside your web browser. When you resize an image, convert a PDF, make a GIF, record your screen or count the words in a text, the work happens on your own device — your files, recordings and text are never uploaded to our server. That is why the tools are safe for private documents such as ID photos, forms and personal videos.
The image, PDF and video tools are built on well-known software, compiled to WebAssembly so it runs at near-native speed in your browser:
- MozJPEG and Google's libwebp for JPG and WebP images, and the image codecs and Lanczos resizing from Google's Squoosh project;
- OxiPNG to save PNG files losslessly at a much smaller size;
- Mozilla's PDF.js to read PDF files, and pdf-lib to create them;
- our own GIF encoder, written in Rust, for Video to GIF, GIF Maker and GIF Resizer. It picks a colour palette for each scene and stores only what changes between frames, so GIFs come out small and sharp;
- your browser's own video decoder (WebCodecs, with mp4box.js) to read video frames quickly; for screen recording, WebCodecs encodes the screen as AV1 in screen-content mode and webm-muxer writes the file (other browsers use their built-in MediaRecorder).
We count visits with Google Analytics and receive the messages you send through the contact form; nothing else. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
How We Check Our Results
- Standard formulas. Length converters follow the CSS standard (1 inch = 96 px = 72 pt = 25.4 mm), and every page shows the formula it uses, so you can check the maths yourself.
- Tables from the same formulas. Conversion tables are generated from the same formulas as the calculators and checked automatically, so the table and the converter always agree.
- Tested conversions. Image tools are tested with sample photos for exact output sizes, correct orientation of phone photos and preserved color profiles; lossless modes, including PNG output, are checked pixel by pixel.
- Measured GIF quality. GIFs are compared frame by frame with the original video or images for size and accuracy, and see-through areas of transparent GIFs are checked pixel by pixel.
