Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Each Convert (www.eachconvert.com) collects when you visit the site, why, and the choices you have. In short: the files, text and numbers you use in our tools stay on your device. We count visits with Google Analytics, we plan to show ads from Google AdSense (no ads are shown yet), and we receive what you type into the contact form.

Files, text and values you use in our tools

Every tool on Each Convert runs inside your web browser. When you resize or convert an image, turn a PDF into images, make a GIF from a video, record your screen, count words or convert a CSS unit, the work is done on your own device. Your files, recordings, text and values are not uploaded to our server, and we cannot see them.

To make this possible, your browser downloads the tools themselves from our server (the page, its scripts and the WebAssembly code that does the image and GIF work). That download contains nothing of yours.

One tool keeps something on your device: the Word Counter saves the text you type in your browser's local storage, so it is still there if you reload the page. It stays in that browser only and is never sent to us. Clear the text box, or clear this site's data in your browser settings, to remove it.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages and tools they use, and how they found the site. It helps us decide which tools to improve. Google Analytics collects:

Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID> that last up to two years and tell repeat visits apart. They do not contain your name or contact details. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's tracking protection, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. All tools keep working without them.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Each Convert does not show any ads yet. To keep the tools free, we plan to show ads served by Google AdSense on some pages. This section explains in advance how those ads will work. When ads are switched on, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Ads will appear next to the tools and articles and will never have access to the files, text or values you use in our tools, because those never leave your device.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less related to your interests.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, through a consent message provided by Google. You will be able to change your choice at any time from the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that this message adds to the page.

We don't use social media tracking pixels.

Contact form

When you send a message through our contact page, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, together with your IP address and the time. They are sent to our support inbox by email and are used only to read and answer your message. We keep messages as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

To stop spam, the server also keeps a one-way coded (hashed) form of your IP address with the times of your messages for 24 hours, so it can limit how many messages one connection sends.

Server logs and security

Like almost every website, our hosting server keeps standard access logs: the IP address, the page or file requested, the date and time, and your browser's description of itself. A security service in front of the server checks the same information to block attacks. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are kept for a limited time.

The site is served over HTTPS only, so everything sent between your browser and the site is encrypted.

What we don't do

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. The only personal data we hold is in contact form messages and short-lived server logs. To make a request, write to us through the contact page. For data held by Google Analytics and Google AdSense, use the opt-out options above or Google's own privacy tools.

Children

Each Convert is a general-purpose site and is not aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as MDN Web Docs. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their own policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, for example by adding a new service, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
